Oakwood Premier Coex Center’s Genesis Business Center offers an all-day meeting room package.
Necessary equipment such as a projection system, Internet connection and all state-of-the-art devices are included in the package, along with complimentary coffee and cookies. Three meeting places are available: Meeting Room 1 with a capacity for six people at 480,000 won, Meeting Room 2 that holds 18 people at 800,000 won, and the Boardroom for 20 people, at 900,000 won.

Sheraton Incheon Hotel
Sheraton Incheon Hotel presents 2011 Escape to Green package to commemorate being the first hotel in Korea to achieve the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certificate. The package includes one night stay in a deluxe room, breakfast buffet for two, Sheraton eco bag, hand wash, access to fitness center, indoor pool and sauna, and free Internet use. Guests can also take a morning stretching class or go on a stroll to a nearby Central Park.

Imperial Palace
Bartender Choi Gyu-sam of Imperial Palace Hotel’s Zoe Bar won the 2011 Green Day Midori New Recipe Seminar & Bartender Contest on April 5. It was the first time for local bartenders to participate in the worldwide contest organized by Suntory, producer of the premium melon liquor Midori, and its Korean importer Sunbo Liquor.
Choi’s “Days of Heaven” using Midori topped the ranking in the Classic Division, and he will represent Korea at the 17th Golden Cup Bartender Contest to be held in Taiwan later this year. For more information, call 02-3440-8000.
Ritz Carlton Seoul
Ritz-Carlton Seoul’s three bartenders will present wine cocktails using Montes Cherub Rose at a party on May 4 to celebrate the opening of the outdoor terrace at the hotel’s European restaurant, The Garden.
The bartenders to offer cocktails at the Montes Garden Party are: Eom Do-hwan, winner at World Class 2010; Yoo Jae-gwang, secretary general of the Korea Bartender Guild; and Nam Young-hwan, Korea brand manager and chief beverage innovation manager at France Premium Syrup & Liqueur Company.
Cocktails of Montes Cherub, a blend of 100 percent Syrah from the Archangel Estate in Marchique, Chile, will satisfy both the nose and palate. The entry is 50,000 won and the party will be held from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. For more information, call 02-3451-8271.

Orangerie, Millennium Seoul Hilton’s buffet restaurant, offers Pure Food promotion with New Zealand guest chef Robert Oliver in May. Oliver, a multi award-winning chef, and author of “Me’a Kai: The Food and Flavors of the South Pacific” and a forerunner of the “Farm to Table” program, will bring pure New Zealand flavors and cooking style to Seoul. Some delights he will showcase include BBQ greenshell mussels, New Zealand beef curry with coconut chutney and pavlova with kiwifruit.
