Novotel Ambassador

The buffet restaurant, “the SQUARE," at Novotel Ambassador celebrates its opening and offers a special event through Oct. 29 ㅡ “The SQUARE Event.”

Guests with square accessories (glasses, watches, brooches or others) are eligible for a free square plate by Churchill of England. The gift is available daily for the first 20 guests. The SQUARE has been designed by a world leading interior design company “Wilson Associates” and features a modern interior touch with a spacious hall and private dining rooms. The menus embrace all authentic cuisines from all over the world including Korean, Chinese and Japanese among others.

The buffet restaurant provides a menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers other a la carte menus available during off-buffet hours.

Breakfast is 29,700 won, lunch is 49,500 won (weekdays) and 51,000 won (weekends) while dinner is offered for 59,400 won.

The Paradise Busan Hotel

The Paradise Busan Hotel will hold a pastry festival from Oct. 28 to Oct. 31.

Pastries with different themes will be presented every day from the hands of the best bakers in Busan. The event will be filled with European tastes ranging from croissants to baguettes. On the third day, the hotel will offer breads made with Korean rice and wheat, and will close with red bean and makkeolli-based pastries on the fourth day.

At the festival, about 300 kinds of wines from across the world will be offered at bargain prices starting from 19,000 won, which is up to an 80 percent discount from regular prices.

The Mayfield Hotel

The Mayfield Hotel’s patisserie, Delica, offers Halloween cookies and cakes for Oct. 31.

For the promotion, the hotel will offer cookies shaped after ghosts and bats, and party hats. The cakes will be made from pumpkins.

The handmade cookies will be sold at 4,000 won or 4,500 won a bag.

Zucchini cream cheese cake and pumpkin pie will be priced at 35,000 won and 30,000 won, respectively. All prices are exclusive of tax. For more information, call (02) 2660-9033.

The Westin Chosun Seoul

The Westin Chosun Seoul offers wine bargains to celebrate its 96th anniversary until Oct, 24 at its wine shop, Vecchia e Nuovo.

The presented premium wines will be sold at discount prices of up to 44 percent off current prices.

Wine bargains are available at prices as low as 9,600 won. Also, five bottles of first class luxury wines are available in a set for 9.6 million won (excluding tax). All wines on sale are available in limited quantities.

Guests who have the number “96” in their receipt number will receive a complimentary bottle of wine. Also, on top of the “Buy One Get One Free” event, a “Wine and Glass” event will give wine glasses away to guests who purchase a bottle of Educated Guess Cabernet Sauvignon or Pangea Syrah.

Grand Hyatt Seoul’s J.J. Mahoney’s will be celebrating its 22nd Halloween anniversary, with one of its signature Halloween parties on the nights of Oct. 29 and 30.

This year, J.J. Mahoney’s takes on a new twist as it morphs itself into a unique fantasy world where pumpkins and rabbits have taken over the house.

JJ’s house music band “Oxygen,” a “Halloween Costume Parade,” a “Best Costume Contest” and a special Halloween make-up booth will be presented.
