Millennium Seoul Hilton

Orangerie, Millennium Seoul Hilton's international buffet restaurant, is going local for its May promotion. Featuring hansik (Korean cuisine) throughout the month of May, the festival will spotlight iconic local dishes representing all nine provinces of Korea.

The served dishes are ― Jeju: Avalon Porridge, Kangwon: Spicy Stir-fried Chicken Ribs, Pyungan: Pyungan Cold Noodle, Kyungsan: Gwangyan Bulgogi and more.

The Orangerie lunch buffet is priced at 52,000 won for adults and 31,200 won for children aged 12 and under. The dinner buffet is priced at 57,000 won for adults and 34,200 won for children aged twelve and under.

Also, every Monday is Kid's Day at Orangerie. Children twelve years and younger are able to eat for free when accompanied by an adult (one child per adult is admitted for free).

Grand Hyatt Seoul

J.J. Mahoney's, bar and dining club at the Grand Hyatt Seoul, will be showcasing overnight House Music Party, from May 21 to May 22.

This year's House Music Party will find House of JJ encased in sparkling blues and pastel colors. The event will include live performances by internationally renowned DJ, Scott Pullen; fantastic musical performances by J.J. Mahoney's brand new, live house band, Transit.

A complimentary welcome drink and Illy-coffee will be provided to each guest.

The party runs from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Entrance is set at 30,000 won but those with JJ Ladies Membership can pay 20,000 won only.

The Imperial Palace Hotel

The Imperial Palace Hotel is running its open cafe, Garden Terrace, until Oct. 9 where people can enjoy complementary beer between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Alongside Guinness, pork ribs, chicken drumsticks, sausages as well as smoked salmon, fish and chips and many other international dishes will be on offer.

Menus are priced at 45,000 won for barbeque and beer buffet, 22,000 won for barbeque only and 160,000 won for beer buffet, barbeque and whisky.

Lotte Hotel Seoul

Lotte Hotel Seoul's Japanese restaurant Momoyama has invited Chef Sugiyama Mamoru of Ginza Sushiko, a famous four-generation sushi restaurant chef, creating dishes from May 18 through 20.

This three-day event features special sushi made with fresh seasonal produce and presented with a spring theme. Kaiseki in six to 10 courses will be offered at lunch and dinner at 120,000 won and 170,000 won, respectively. The Sushi Gala is a special course that serves nine to 11 different types of sushi artfully prepared in front of the guests by the chef himself. Quality champagne and white wine will accompany the sushi. This course is limited to 10 guests for lunch and dinner, priced at 150,000 won and 300,000 won, respectively.

Chef Mamoru is the fourth generation proprietor of Ginza Sushiko, first opened in 1885. He is known for his traditional sushi-making, which emphasizes the original flavor of the ingredients. Ginza Sushiko has been awarded one star in the Tokyo Michelin Guide for three consecutive years since 2008.
