Novotel Ambassador
Novotel Ambassador Gangnam held a Christmas charity event "Together with Society, Let's Share Our Love," Monday.
The hotel staff made a special delivery of rice and cake to about 70 households that included seniors living alone, juveniles and other neighbors in need. The recipients were residents in Ilwon-dong and Daechi-dong in southern Seoul, who welcomed the Santa Claus-costumed hotel staff.
This year's charity event "Let's Share Our Love - Rice Donation 2009" is part of the hotel's Green Globe campaign. The hotel acquired a Green Globe bronze mark in March 2009. Green Globe is an official certified mark given by EC3 Globe, a world-wide environmental advisory institute who pursues non-polluted growth with low use of carbon.
Since 2009, the hotel has constantly been more active in promoting sustainable development as it decided to operate all outlets under an environmentally-friendly system.
"Sharing the blessing of Christmas with our neighbors in need is the true spirit of Christmas. Novotel Ambassador Gangnam will continue our efforts to contribute to the welfare of the community as a Green Globe corporation," said the general manager of the hotel, Jerome Stubert.
