Savoring Arrival of Spring at Hotels

Cherry blossoms and other flowers are blooming from the southern tip of the peninsula. Want to savor the arrival of spring, but are too busy? Then try some seasonal events at hotels.
To help guests enjoy the season, the Sheraton Grande Walkerhill will hold the Walkerhill Cherry Blossom Festival from April 4 to May 12.
The hotel has some paths sidelined with cherry trees, which has been designated as one of Seoul's popular spots in the spring season by the city government.
At the festival, the hotel will feature various events such as a photo exhibit, outdoor music festival and wine fair. It will also open an outdoor restaurant.
For the event, titled ``When Asia meets the West,'' the hotel offers a variety of food choices such as club sandwiches, Hungarian chicken basket, spaghetti a la mare, steak teryaki and fishcake kebabs. Prices of each item range from 20,000 won to 25,000 won.
At another event, ``When Wine Meets Cherry Blossoms,'' a wine cafe will introduce over 90 brands of wine as well as light snacks under the pink tint of the cherry blossoms.
The hotel also offers a special package for romantic holidays available through May 31.
A package, named ``Spring Comes Everywhere,'' allows guests to enjoy a walk along the hotel's jogging path under cheery blossoms after a night on the hotel's Sweet Sleeper Bed for 215,000 won.
The ``Ladies Pleasure Ladies in Berry & Cherry Package'' at 250,000 won invites the female guests for a night of comfortably chatting.
It also offers a comfortable sleep in the Sweet Sleeper Bed and a light dessert with a strawberry buffet and tea in the hotel's lobby lounge, Pavilion.
A wide array of strawberry menu items is available at the strawberry buffet. Afterwards, girls can take a walk under the cherry blossoms to get some fresh air with close friends.

Located at the foot of Mount. Namsan in central Seoul, the Millennium Seoul Hilton and Grand Hyatt Seoul offer spring packages for picnic lovers.
The Millennium Seoul Hilton's special room packages, available through to June 30, include the Cherry Blossom Package.
For 225,000 won guests get a deluxe room and a complimentary picnic basket from Cilantro Deli including two club sandwiches and two beverages. Guests can enjoy taking a walk along the flower-blossomed trails on the mountain for their picnic.

Grand Hyatt Seoul's spring picnic package offers a special picnic set, which includes a JJ Deli pizza and two soft drinks.
It also offers grand room accommodations, complimentary use of the gym and indoor swimming pool, an upgrade to a river view room upon availability and a 50 percent discount at the sauna.
