Millennium Seoul Hilton’s British-style bar, the Oak Room, will return its BBQ Happy Hour starting May 1.

Every weekday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., guests can enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet of salad and a variety of barbeque dishes with unlimited beer, wine and other drinks.

Guests will be charged only 29,000 won per person and 39,000 won if opting for premium wine brands.

The Grand Hilton Seoul is pushing a special Dutch food promotion at its restaurants until April 29, offering a rare chance for local food-lovers to experience the authentic cuisine of the Netherlands.

Chef Bos Dirk, who works at the Hilton Holiday Inn Ijmuiden Seaport Beach, will run the kitchen at the Seoul hotel’s Atrium Cafe and Buffet Restaurant to present the best of his country’s culinary delights.

Imperial Palace Hotel is preparing various food promotions at its restaurants during the month of May, which is regarded in Korea as the ``Family Month.’’

For the May 5 Children’s Day, a national holiday, the hotel’s buffet restaurant Familia is adding special sweet dishes to its regular offerings tailored for children. The restaurant is also preparing a variety of events including face paintings, caricature drawings, and photo shootings for young guests.

For the May 8 Parent’s Day, the hotel’s Japanese restaurant Man Yo will offer a special buffet of Japanese gourmet dishes. Guests with more than four members or accompanying parents above 40 years of age will be given a free buffet service for one person in that group.

Novotel Ambassador Gangnam will offer special food promotions at its restaurants Festival, Shunmi and the Bistro throughout the month of May.

The buffest restaurant Festival will offer a 20 percent discount for its ``well-being buffet table’’ during the month while Japanese restaurant Shunmi will present a special buffet offering that includes sashimi, seafood, barbeque dishes, tepanyaki and more.
