Actress announces plans for wedding

Actress Um Ji-won has made it clear that her wedding will be as simple as possible.
The 37-year-old will tie the knot with a 39-year-old architect at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul on May 27. Some 200 guests will be invited to the event, and they will make do with just a ring as a wedding gift.
They will also skip the pyebaek, a traditional ceremony at which the newlyweds pay respects to each others’ families after the wedding.
Um debuted in 2002 in the MBC drama “Golden Wagon” and has since appeared in nearly 30 dramas and films. Her husband-to-be studied at Yonsei University and currently runs his own architectural design company.
