Healthcare design society has first chief

Kim Sae-chul
Myongji Hospital President Kim Sae-chul was named inaugural president of the Korean Society of Healthcare Design (KSHD) at its first board meeting on March 14.
Kim received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Kyungpook National University in 1971 and 1985, respectively, and went on to earn his doctorate from Chung-Ang University.
He has served as president of the Korean Society for Sexual Medicine and Andrology, the Korean Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Korean Urological Society.
He is currently a permanent member of the Korean Academy of Science and Technology and a member of the National Academy of Medicine of Korea.
KSHD is an association of doctors, architects, IT experts, businessmen and journalists. A seminar also took place at the board meeting under the theme of “Design Leads Healthcare Innovation.”
