Genesis BBQ Group Chairman Yoon Hong-geun was inaugurated as chairman of the Korea Foodservice Industry Association (KFIA) at the Lotte Hotel in Jamsil, southern Seoul, Tuesday.
“I feel the weight on my shoulders as chairman of the KFIA,” Yoon said at the ceremony. “I will work to make sure the KFIA becomes a new and leading growth power in the 21st century food service industry.”
Yoon received his bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees from Chosun University, and has served as chairman of the Korea Franchise Association.
The KFIA is an association of food service licensees who gather to work to enhance competitiveness, foster talent and build infrastructures for the advancement of the industry. It also works to globalize Korean food.
