Korea Green Cross Chairman Dies at 69

Huh Young-sup, chairman of the Korea Green Cross Corp., passed away Sunday after battling a chronic disease. He was 69.
Huh is survived by his wife and three sons. A funeral ceremony will be held at the Seoul National University (SNU) hospital in Bundang, Gyeonggi Province, Wednesday.
A graduate of SNU, Huh started working at Korea Green Cross in 1970 and became CEO in 1980. In 1992, he took over the chairmanship.
He studied for a PhD in engineering in Germany and collected numerous awards, including the Korean CEO Grand Prize and the order of national service merit. Huh was also decorated by the German government.
