Girl Band f(x) to Strut at Seoul Collection

Girl band f(x) will make their debut as models at one of the biggest fashion events in Seoul.
The five-member group will appear for the collection of fashion designer Ha Sang-beg at the 2010 S/S Seoul Collection on Oct. 18 at Seoul Trade Exhibition and Convention (SETEC), southern Seoul, its agency SM Entertainment said Friday.
``I was very impressed when I first saw the members at their showcase. I liked Amber's iconic look and thought she would go well with my contemporary designs, while Sulli and Krystal were perfect for my collection with their perfect proportions and baby faces,'' Ha said.
In addition to the Seoul Collection event, Krystal will also parade down the catwalk for noted fashion designer Lee Sang-bong at a special concert held to celebrate the opening of the Dream Forest, northern Seoul, Saturday.
``This is our first time to take part in a fashion show, but we will try to show our best without making any mistakes. We hope our fans will look forward to the show and support us,'' f(x) said in a statement.
The band made its debut in September with their catchy song ``LA chA TA.'' Having a distinctive look and colorful members, the group is slowly following the footsteps of groups such as Girls' Generation and TVXQ by gaining fans both here and abroad.
In addition to their fashion show debut, f(x) will also perform as the opening act for international pop star Beyonce, who is visiting Seoul for concerts on Oct. 20 and 21 at Olympic Park.
