Cartoonist Kim Sang-taek Dies of Cancer

Cartoonist Kim Sang-taek passed away Tuesday, losing his battle against stomach cancer. He was 55.
Kim was one of the most popular newspaper cartoonists, with his witty, sarcastic cartoons loved by readers for their sharp insight and unique touch.
He started his career with the Kyunghyang Daily in 1988 and worked for the paper until he moved to the JoongAng Ilbo, where he worked from March 1999.
He is survived by his wife and a son. Kim's funeral ceremony will be held at Samsung Medical Center in Seoul. For more information, call 02-3410-6915.
