Kim Ki-young Will Lead Kwangwoon Univ.

Kim Ki-young, the current vice president of Yonsei University, was named the 8th president of Kwangwoon University on Saturday.
The 72-year-old will succeed current president Lee Sang-chul and officially lead the university from October 9 for four years. Kim earned his bachelors degree at Yonsei University, and his masters and doctorate at the University of Washington.
Kim served as president of the Korean Academic Society of Business Administration and chairman of the Taekwang school board.
Located in Seoul, Kwangwoon has around 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students with about 300 professors. The university is strong in the field of electronic engineering.
