(370) Clash in saju

Without exception, everybody has saju, the four pillars of destiny derived from birth. It consists of eight letters composed of birth year, month, day and hour. And the pairs of letters build each pillar to make eight letters.

Someone say saju is an order from heaven so it can’t be altered. Others say there still is a lot we can change in our lives. Some say it is only an occultism that is not seriously reliable. Others say it is an priceless fundamental whose theory has been accumulated over almost 5,000 years. Someone say it is a kind of statistics that requires abstruse calculation. They eventually called saju a barcode system. Others say we can’t call it statistics because there is no logic with database.

In the early stages of its academic history, people used to read it by birth year, namely animal zodiac sign, such as rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog and pig, although some of them are subject to changes in different cultures. For example, the elephant is included instead of the pig in some South Asian countries while other countries have the cat instead of the rabbit.

Later, the key to determine one’s personality changed from birth year (earthly branch) to birthdate (heavenly stem) to make it a day master. This shift makes saju theory more esoteric.

Regardless of its complicated interpretation, one simple method is to read the interaction among letters and compare it with the coming year’s energy. To put it briefly, 2017 was the year of the rooster that clashes with rabbit. The letter of rabbit may appear in saju when one’s birth zodiac is a rabbit year, birth month is March 4 to 6 and birth hour is 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Then what will happen when the letters are clashed with the coming year’s letter? A specific interpretation can be introduced if we translate the five elements interaction based on the day master. It can be a change in married life, money loss, children, job or reputation issues while it may lead to health problems and even death.

The clash of rabbit (yin wood) and rooster (yin metal) is like pruning plants with a knife, axe or shears. When it comes to one’s health, this clash may injure people’s ankles or wrists. When it becomes serious it can be their back.

I have five students who sprained their ankles and one back with the clashes this year, which is over 70 percent accuracy. Among my clients one divorced and the other lost her husband. One quit her job and the others have problem with their children.

Of course there are many others who didn’t experience any problems with the letter of rabbit in their saju. It may happen when the saju is stable and harmonized enough to endure the turbulence between their saju and the environment. Nevertheless, I still advise them to be careful until the end of this year, which is Feb. 4, 2018.
