Osulloc launches Chuseok tea gift set

Osulloc, a popular Korean tea brand, launched a gift set for Chuseok.

The gift set is designed with special themes in mind, such as travel and parties. The “Memory in Jeju” tea set recalls travels on Jeju Island and the “PARTea in Sunset Garden” collection was launched just for this year’s Chuseok holiday.

The “Secret Tea Story” collection features nine teas for blending, and the package features illustrations of cities such as Jeju, New York and Paris. The gift sets can be purchased at physical Osulloc tea houses or online at www.osulloc.com.

European Jazz Festival to take place in Seoul

The second European Jazz Festival will take place at the Kwanglim Arts Center BBCH Hall in Apgujeong-dong, southern Seoul, from Sept. 19 through 21.

Thirteen teams of artists from England, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Denmark, Italy, Germany, Israel and Norway will appear in five performances over the three days. The first performance will take place at 8 p.m. on the 19th, the second and third at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on the 20th, and the fourth and fifth at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on the 21st. Artists include the Bobo Stenson Trio, Thierry Lang Trio, Baptiste Trotignon Trio and John Taylor.Tickets are available at Interpark, Yes24 and Auction. Prices range from 40,000 won to 80,000 won.

Lotte Hotel Jeju introduces “2014 DIY Package”

Lotte Hotel Jeju is offering a special package for its penny-wise guests from Aug. 17 to Dec. 31. This economical package features a one-night stay in its Deluxe Mountain View room, use of its He:on Spa, two tickets to the fitness club, free parking, and a 10 percent discount coupon for JDC’s Duty Free shops. The DIY options include a room upgrade, a poolside brunch buffet, a winery tour, and an outdoor buffet and volcano show at special discounted prices. Prices start at 320,000 won.

Grand Ambassador Seoul offers “Fall in Love” package

The Grand Ambassador Seoul is showcasing its special “Fall in Love” package for those who want to relax while enjoying the city this holiday season from Sept. 5 to 10. Yeouido Marriott’s “Park Cafe,” re-opens

Marriott Executive Apartments, a residence hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, has re-opened its “Park Cafe,” a restaurant on its second floor, after renovations. The space was reborn to include a private dining room for small business meetings and events, and the menu was reborn to include “re-launching” lunch and dinner sets. Appetizers will include the signature mango salad and figs. From Aug. 22 through Sept. 30, any guest who orders the re-launching menu will be gifted with a bottle of wine. The hotel also launched a “Park Cafe Re-launching Package,” which includes coffee coupons, cocktail vouchers and brunch discount coupons. Package rates begin at 249,000 won.

Everland reopens its very own “Halloween & Horror Nights” festival

Famous for its annual Halloween festival, Everland will hold “Halloween & Horror Nights” from Sept. 5 to Nov. 2. “The Walking Dead Square” will feature the newest addition of zombies from the actual TV series to maximize the fear factor. Other parts of the festival include “Horror Safari,” “Horror Maze I & II” and “Horror Club” where DJ DOC, Swings, Simon D, and other famous hip-hop DJ’s will perform.
