Where is my soulmate?

We often forget the innocence of our younger days, days when we looked for true love. To my disappointment, I have seen many people become blinded with avarice, power, reputation or wealth, and forsaking their true happiness of love. On the other hand, some very successful people are still looking for their true love, realizing that no amount of success can compensate.

It’s not rare to hear such a thing happen nowadays, that a billionaire has relinquished his fortune to elope with a lover. This is just like a recent story of a successful Chinese investor in his late 40s. He was married and had accumulated a huge wealth but eloped with his lover, who was his business partner. He left a message that he had decided to renounce all his right in order to be with his true love.

Marriage, one of the most important events in our life, is regarded as a sacred ritual so a marriage agreement is considered binding for life. Needless to say, there is no happiness like a marriage of a truly loving couple. However, we also admit that it is always probable to find another love after marriage.

It would be great if we could recognize our soul mate before marriage, but it is hardly a sinecure to meet a soul mate at a right time, at a right place. We don’t know this until we meet. On top of that, it takes time to get to know each other and that doesn’t always happen in our 20s or 30s when most people get married.

Consequently, marriage is becoming a rather cautious event. Reading my client’s saju, even when their major concern is not about their marriage, but about their career, if I see some misfortune about their future marriage life, I advise them to be cautious, either by marrying late or by reading the marital harmony with their marriage partner as often as possible.

Through saju, we may be able to read marital harmony. We call it “gunghap” in Korean. Most Koreans read their own and partner’s saju before and after marriage to check their compatibility. Now, this is not just a traditional Korean custom, but many foreigners are also interested in it to read their married life.

A German lady asked me to read her saju and that of two other men to see who is more compatible for her. She was wondering who would be better spouse material.

She was born with a yang wood day master. A large tree usually represents yang wood. People with a yang wood day master are extroverted and competitive. They act as they desire and strive to succeed. However once they lose their balance they can be easily scattered and find it hard to handle great amounts of pressure. So especially when it’s a female saju, it is highly recommended to find an appropriate soul mate.

Reading the two men’s saju, one was yang wood day master, the same as the lady, and the other yang water. In regards to the relationship among day stems, they all are compatible. However, marital harmony is not simply looking at the day masters.

As we can easily notice by the colors of saju, the overall atmosphere is rather cold in hers. She was born in the month of metal, having water elements in her day branch. She takes great pride in herself - water represents her knowledge star, which implies one’s self esteem. However she lacks a fire element, so it would not be easy for her to express herself.

Considering the lady’s saju, a man with some warmth (fire element) in his saju can be a better candidate. The saju of the second man didn’t have any fire energy in any of the year, month and day pillars. Therefore, his saju is overly cold and he is even selfish with many friend stars. The saju of the first man does had some warmth in his month stem, but he has too many earth elements, which suggest lots of girlfriends and they are even clashed in his marriage palace.

To conclude, I was not able to recommend either of them. It could have been a disappointing result, but she nodded through most of my reading and said that I just confirmed what she thought.
