Strauss-Kahn — success and ultimate crash

By Janet Shin
Dominique Strauss-Kahn was engulfed by a deluge of allegations of sexual misbehavior, which finally led him to resign as chief of the International Monetary Fund.
This kind of news makes us think that our life is but an empty dream. The seeming success of one’s career can easily vanish overnight. While some willingly sacrifice fame and wealth for true love, others are just deprived of their lifetime achieved fame by one day’s misconduct.
As a saju master, I habitually open the saju of those who are at their turning point, or on the winding life path for unprepared trouble. Reading the saju of Kahn just proved what happened to him this year was actually embedded in his saju and it wasn’t a sudden blunder.
If you paid a little more attention, you would notice a similar case in 1977 with international director, Roman Polanski. Polanski is a Polish-French film director and producer. His movie The Pianist (2002), a world war II true story about a Jewish-Polish musician Wladyslaw Szpilman, brought him three Academy Awards and his most recent film The Ghost Writer (2010), also won six European Film Awards.
Polanski was arrested for sexual assault after a photo shoot in Los Angeles in 1977. He was sent for psychiatric evaluation at a U.S. prison and then fled to France to avoid a further sentence.
Here I attached their saju, from which you will also be able to see what was lying underneath is alike in some ways, but pursued different life path in others. All of these life aspects are embedded in their saju. Let’s see why and how.
We are able to read a lot of life stories from their saju, but the first impression is a prevailing energy of the money star for both of them. The money star is the earth element for Kahn (wood day master) and the metal element for Polanski (fire day master). The money star of course represents wealth overall, but it also implies women for men’s saju. I have emphasized that too much is as bad as is too little. So it is apparent that the “too many money elements” could have caused cumbersome problems, related with money and women not in a specific year but throughout their lives. Then, in order to mediate for the energy equilibrium, Kahn has to utilize metal (career star, authority) while Polanski has earth (expression star, talent) in between the day master and the money star.
According to these explicit interpretations, it is not a peculiar fact that Kahn was in a powerful position associated with finance, and Polanski was a very talented director, with international recognition.
Now, going back to specifics of the incidents, what happened to Kahn in 2011 and to Polanski in 1977 respectively were, Kahn’s career star (metal) in his day branch clashed with the energy of 2011, and Polanski’s money star (metal) in his month branch was penalized by the energy of 1977. Polanski’s expression star (earth) in his day branch was still protected in 1977, so he was able to flee and continue making films, however for Kahn, it is a whole collapse of his career life.
