(128) Saju of a North Korean defector

Thirty one North Koreans had been found drifting on a fishing boat in inter-Korean maritime border in February. While four of them declared to defect, the return of the rest are still under tough negotiation, because North Korea refused to accept if it was not all 31’s return. This became an issue due to the political and ideological interests between the two governments.
Since there are more and more North Korean defectors living in South Korea, I am asked to read their saju from time to time. Unfortunately, some of them are still not satisfied with their lives in South Korea although they escaped from miserable lives in North and survived from dangerous journey on their way to South Korea. Apart from financial support of South Korean government, mental and psychological instabilities exist as ever owing to cultural differences between the two establishments.
Does the external environment where one lives in influence one’s saju? Theoretically, there shouldn’t be any interaction between them because saju consists of four or eight letters given from one’s birth. However I keep experimenting that there are certain chemistry between saju and its external circumstances and found that they affect each other.
For example, I have often explained that the saju with too much water, which means one’s life is too cold, may influence in a beneficial way if one immigrates to the southern hemisphere. Being southbound can add fire energy to one’s life. One may also travel to tropical countries to get warmth to compensate the energy flow in saju.
Also, moving to forest or mountain areas can be a help for those who need wood and earth elements. It is not just about the aspect of coldness or warmth.
We can see that occupations also alter the atmosphere. The live letters cause troubles and accidents to our lives when there are too many, as they easily clash with one another. People who have too many live letters in their saju might be in traveling or trading occupation to utilize their active energy in a constructive way. One may be involved in liquor business since it requires water energy in saju.
Some people improve their lives by changing certain condition of living, but not all of them.
Here is a life of a North Korean refugee whose saju was once read.
It is rare to meet a saju in this type, as all four branch letters are clashed, which caught my immediate attention and felt sympathy upon reading. She indeed experienced lots of hardships, escaping from North Korea through China and Mongolia. It is needless to say that she had hovered between life and death. Moreover, all her family members, including parents and siblings are not in secured lives.
The five stars can also be translated to her family relations as below.
Friend star ― Siblings
Expression star ― Son and daughters
Money star ― Father
Career star ― Husband
Knowledge star ― Mother
Now that all of her four branches are broken, it implies the tragic life stories of her father, mother, children and husband. And her friend stars (siblings) are sitting on these instable earthly branches. Actually she has one sister and one brother in China. Both of them are struggling for life. Her mother and father had been sick since she was born and her father passed away a few years ago. Her marriage life has not been happy either, because her husband was not faithful.
We understand that she has a strong will to maintain her life, which was seen by many earth elements and fire energy in month branch. This represents self-confidence and dependence. But her path of life has been full of turbulences.
When I have to read the saju like this, I become speechless as there is little advice I can give to improve her life.
