Changdeok Palace to resume moonlight tour
The "Moonlight Tour" at Changdeok Palace is to reopen to the public on Aug. 15, the Cultural Heritage Administration said Thursday.
The night tour program will run 24 times for local visitors and five times specifically for foreigners, from Aug. 15-20, Sept. 12-17, and Oct. 8-16. A total of 150 people can join each tour group.
Tickets can be purchased through Interpark (https://ticket.interpark.com) from 2 p.m. on Friday.
One visitor can buy up to four tickets. Previously it was limited to two.
The Moonlight Tour takes two hours, during which participants can take a leisurely stroll around the old palace and enjoy traditional performances, tea and snacks.
"In the second half of this year, we have 11 more tours compared to the same period last year," an official from the administration said. "People can take a precious break from their busy life and enjoy the serenity that the palace offers." (Yonhap)
