TVXQ Single Shoots to 2nd in Japan
``Stand by U,'' the 28th single album by Dong Bang Shin Gi, one of South Korea's top pop idol groups and also known as TVXQ, shot to second in the single daily table of Japan's Oricon Charts, following Arashi's 27th single, ``Everything.''
Yonhap News Agency estimated the number of ``Stand by U'' sold Wednesday, the first day of its release, at nearly 95,000. Arashi sold more than 135,000 of his singles that were released on the same day.
TVXQ's latest album contains ``Tea for Two'' and ``Sky'' in addition to ``Stand by U,'' a ballad.
TVXQ plans to appear on several Japanese television programs to promote its new songs.
TVXQ is a South Korean boy band quintet consisting of Xiah, Micky, Hero, Max and U-know.
