K-pop stars questioned over sex scandals

K-pop singers Jung Joon-young and Seungri appeared for questioning by the police Thursday, over allegations of illicitly recording and sharing sex videos online, and for the latter, providing sexual services for business partners.
목요일, 가수 정준영이 온라인상에서 불법적으로 섹스 비디오를 녹화 및 공유한 혐의로, 승리는 사업 파트너에게 성접대를 제공한 혐의로 조사를 받기 위해 경찰에 출두했다.
Jung, 30, arrived at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency at 10 a.m., two days after returning from an overseas shoot, following the allegations.
정준영(30)은 혐의가 불거짐에 따라 해외촬영을 중단하고 귀국한 지 이틀 만인 이날 오전 10시 서울지방경찰청에 도착했다.
“I apologize for causing public concern. I will cooperate fully with the police investigation,” he told reporters.
그는 이어 “국민 여러분께 심려를 끼쳐 죄송하다. 조사에 성실히 임하겠다”고 기자들에게 말했다.
However, he remained mum on questions from a swarm of reporters awaiting his appearance.
하지만 그는 자신의 출현을 기다리던 기자들의 질문 공세에는 침묵을 지켰다.
Jung was identified as a suspect in the scandal Tuesday, and publically admitted his wrongdoings the following day on social media.
정준영은 화요일 이번 스캔들의 용의자로 밝혀지며, 다음날 본인의 SNS를 통해 자신의 잘못을 공개적으로 인정했다.
During their investigation, police questioned Jung on whether he secretly filmed women he was having sex with and then shared the videos with acquaintances, including Seungri, in several group chat rooms.
경찰은 조사에서 정준영을 상대로 성관계를 맺은 여성을 몰래 촬영했는지, 승리를 포함한 지인들과 여러 단체 채팅방에서 동영상을 공유했는지 등을 추궁했다.
At least 10 women were filmed over a period of 10 months from the end of 2015, according to police.

He underwent a drug test as well, as some excerpts from the online conversations suggested drug abuse.

In addition, Jung was also questioned as to whether he was cleared in another sex video scandal, which surfaced in 2016, thanks to his close ties with police officers.

Local broadcaster SBS revealed Wednesday that an officer had tried to tamper with evidence in the case, in which an ex-girlfriend accused Jung of filming them having sex without her consent.
수요일, SBS는 정준영의 전 여자친구가 자신의 동의 없이 성관계를 갖는 장면을 몰래 촬영했다며 정준영을 고소한 사건에서 한 경찰관이 증거조작을 시도했다는 것을 밝혔다.
Police said they are considering applying for an arrest warrant.
경찰은 체포영장을 신청하는 방안을 검토 중이라고 전했다.
