Singers to attend US music festival

Korean singers and groups such as f(x), Guckkasten, No Brain and Galaxy Express, will attend the South by Southwest Festival in Austin Texas, the region’s largest music festival, which will take place from March 8 to 17 .

A total of 11 Korean bands will hold a Korean showcase named "K-Pop Night Out at SXSW 2013" at Elysium on March 12 as part of the festival.

Supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Contents Agencyy, the showcase will be held along with other Korean cultural events introducing traditional liquor.

World-renowned musicians such as Dave Grohl, Bruce Springsteen, MackleMore & Ryan Lewis and Flaming Lips will grace the stage in the festival.
