Le Sserafim members Sakura and Kazuha have opened up about the overwhelming emotions they experienced after performing at Tokyo Dome, one of Japan’s most symbolic venues. The group held encore concerts for the “Easy Crazy Hot” tour at the Dome on Nov. 18 and 19, just three years after their debut.

Tokyo Dome is widely regarded in Japan as the benchmark of mainstream success and a stage most artists never reach. For Sakura and Kazuha, who were both born and raised in Japan, the achievement carried special personal meaning.

Sakura, who previously performed at Tokyo Dome as a member of a Japanese girl group, said the moment felt surreal.

“The last time I stood on this stage was 11 years ago,” she said. “Back then, I did not really understand what this venue meant. I remember just looking at my seniors’ backs. Now that I am standing here again 11 years later, so many emotions are coming back. I feel like I can finally understand how my seniors felt that day.”

Reflecting on her 14-year career as an idol, Sakura said she often wondered what her life might have looked like had she chosen a different path.

“I achieved many dreams over 14 years, but I also gave up a lot,” she said. “Still, if this scenery is waiting after overcoming all the hardships, I would choose the idol path again, even if I were born again.”

With tears in her eyes, she thanked fans for supporting her long journey. “Thank you for turning someone like me into an idol I can be proud of. I hope Le Sserafim can be even a small source of happiness in your lives. These tears are happy tears.”

Kazuha recalled meeting a father who attended a recent fan sign event. The moment stayed with her because it echoed her own childhood.

“He told me, ‘I am coming to the concert with my daughter, who is practicing ballet very hard. We are both excited,’” she said. “I first watched a concert when I was also focused on ballet, and I went with my father. Maybe that’s why it felt so special.”

For Kazuha, performing at Tokyo Dome felt like coming full circle. “It is amazing that someone in a situation similar to the moment when I first dreamed of performing is now coming to see our concert at a place as big as Tokyo Dome.”

She added that she is aware of her own areas for improvement but remains committed to growing. “I was fortunate to reach such a big stage so quickly because of my four amazing bandmates,” she said. “I still have many things to improve, so I will keep working hard. I hope seeing me grow can give you the courage to take a step forward in your own life.”

Le Sserafim’s Tokyo Dome shows served as the finale of the group’s first world tour, which began in Incheon in April and drew fans across Japan, Asia, and North America through September. Their rapid ascent — going from debut to Tokyo Dome in just three years — has sparked significant discussion among fans, with many on social media calling it the “ultimate full-circle moment” for the group’s Japanese members.

Le Sserafim continue to gain global traction, especially among MZ listeners, for their performances and strong fan culture.
