From powerful performances to tearful farewells

The final night of the concert began with high-energy performances of “Oh Mymy : 7s,” “Freestyle” and “Double Take,” followed by the group’s debut single “plot twist,” which stirred excitement across the venue.

Throughout the night, members took turns engaging fans, affectionately referred to as “42,” expressing both joy and appreciation.

“I was worried that we might be too exhausted by the final day,” said group member Youngjae, “but I was just excited, like a child. After the show, I genuinely thought, ‘I’m so glad I became TWS.’”

The group performed a full slate of hits, including “BFF,” “First Hooky,” “Random Play” and “Hey! Hey!” They also debuted new stages for “Go Back” and “Comma,” showcasing their evolving artistry.

Members reflect on the journey

Tears welled up as the members approached the encore. “With each performance, I was so happy that time flew by. I’m grateful for all 42 of you. Your cheers stayed with me every night," Jihoon said.

Shinyu, the group’s leader, held back tears before ultimately breaking down. “I told myself I wouldn’t cry. I only cry once a year,” he said. “But I’m overwhelmed. Preparing for this concert reminded me how thankful I am to be part of this team and to be your leader.”

Hanjin echoed that sentiment: “If you were happy, then I’m happy too. I want to be someone who brings you good fortune.”

Kyungmin thanked fans for turning his childhood dream into reality. “Even after debuting, I kept wondering what I’d be doing if I hadn’t chosen this path. I feel so lucky. I’ll never lose this sense of gratitude,” he said.

Dohun added, “This might be our last day, but sharing this space with my teammates and the 42 fans made me feel truly fulfilled. Watching senior artists’ concerts as a trainee made me dream of this moment. Now I want to be that kind of artist for someone else.”

As the encore song “If I Were the Sun” played, Jihoon was visibly emotional. “While preparing for this concert, I realized how deeply I’m loved. I didn’t think I could be someone who received this much. I’m so proud to be in TWS,” he said, wiping away tears.

TWS closed the night with their final encore track, “Your Name,” leaving fans with a lingering sense of connection and promise.

The group now sets its sights on Japan, where they will continue their tour starting July 11 in Hiroshima. They are scheduled to perform 13 shows across six cities, including Aichi, Fukuoka, Miyagi, Osaka and Kanagawa.
