GOT7 to perk up young, ill fans on world tour

K-pop boy band GOT7 will perk up young fans fighting illnesses on its world tour “GOT7 2019 WORLD TOUR KEEP SPINNING.”
JYP Entertainment announced, Wednesday, that the group has launched a project “KEEP SPINNING, KEEP DREAMING with GOT7” with nonprofit organization Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Make-A-Wish Foundation, founded in the U.S., is an organization that aims to grant wishes of minors, between the age of two and 18, who suffer from critical illnesses.
As part of the project, GOT7 will invite children with critical illnesses to its June 15 and 16 concerts in Seoul. The children will also meet the group in person at the concert.
“Starting with concerts in Seoul, the group plans to invite children to its concerts throughout the world tour,” said the agency. “It will continue to give support and encouragement to those battling illness.”
GOT7 debuted in 2014 as a seven-piece boy band. The group is set to go on a world tour starting with a June 15 Seoul concert, after releasing its mini album “SPINNING TOP” last month. The concerts will take place in 15 countries across America and Europe, but more cities are likely to be added along the way.
