EXO's Xiumin reveals military hairdo before heading to boot camp

Xiumin, 29, a member of K-pop band EXO, cut his hair short before heading to Army boot camp training in Gangwon Province, Tuesday. Two

He is the first in the nine-member all-male band to start the mandatory 21-month military duty.

He held his solo farewell fan meeting “Xiuweet Time” on May 4.

EXO debuted in 2012. It rose to stardom with its second 2013 album “XOXO,” meaning kiss and hug in online chatting language that is often used in lieu of goodbye.

Xiumin's latest solo song, “You,” will be released through streaming sites at 6 p.m. Thursday.
