ABL Life unveil mobile insurance product for children

ABL Life has teamed up with K bank, the nation's first internet-only bank, to introduce an insurance product exclusively for children and a savings insurance product.
According to K bank, Tuesday, the ABL Life e Child Insurance covers various injuries or fractures sustained in car accidents or outdoor activities as well as critical disorders such as leukemia.
Considering a growing number of crimes targeting young children, the product also includes possible injuries or damage sustained by violent crime.
Children aged under 14 are eligible for the product with a monthly payment of 8,700 won ($7.74) for boys and 6,900 won for girls. The policy matures when an insured child turns 27 while the aggregate amount insured is 30 million won.
Along with the child insurance, ABL Life also rolled out the ABL Life e Bonus Saving Insurance II product that guarantees at least a 2 percent minimum interest rate. It provides a 1.5 percent return bonus when a policyholder completes their premium payments in full and a 3 percent return when matured after the deferred contracted period.
Customers aged between 15 and 80 are eligible for the product.
Both insurance products can be purchased via the K bank mobile application.
“ABL Life is doing its best to provide various insurance products to meet a wide range of customers' demands,” an ABL Life official said.
“In a bid to attract more customers through various channels, ABL Life has started working together with K bank.”
