The number of mobile banking users on smartphones reached over 28 million in the first quarter this year, up 17.1 percent from the previous quarter, according to the Bank of Korea, Wednesday. Industry watchers said the increase reflects the wider use of smartphones as they replace personal computers as the main device for mobile banking.
