Innospace’s HANBIT-Nano launch vehicle blows smoke during its first-stage rocket engine test at the company’s test site in Goheung County, South Jeolla Province, Thursday. The space startup said Tuesday the HANBIT-Nano, its first commercial launch vehicle, has successfully verified the performance and reliability of the 25-ton-thrust first-stage rocket engine. After finishing the second-stage rocket engine test in July, the company said it has completed prelaunch ground testing processes, and the vehicle will be launched at Brazil’s Alcantara Space Center in the second half of this year.
