Hyundai Motor premieres all-new SANTA FE

Hyundai Motor made a world premiere of its new Santa Fe on the company's YouTube channel, Thursday, showcasing core features. The world premiere video, titled "Open for More," was filmed in SANTA FE, New Mexico, the origin of the model, to commemorate the heritage of the SANTA FE spanning from the 1st generation to the current 5th generation.
The video emphasizes the SANTA FE's spacious and sturdy tailgate, which transforms ordinary cargo space into a personalized open terrace, making outdoor activities more accessible. The video also showcases the seamless connection between urban and natural settings, inside and outside, expanding the range of everyday experiences.
The new SANTA FE, a fifth-generation model, is launched five years after the fourth-generation model's debut in 2018 and positioned as Hyundai's flagship midsize SUV, it encompasses both urban and outdoor lifestyles.
"Since the debut of the first-generation model, Hyundai's first independently developed SUV, the SANTA FE has captured the hearts of global customers,” Hyundai Motor CEO Jang Jae-hoon said. “With the bold and robust presence of the fifth-generation SANTA FE, which harmoniously blends outdoor and urban elements, we are poised to establish a distinctive position in the midsize SUV market.”
