Hyundai E&C begins sales of Bucheon Illumistate

A consortium led by Hyundai Engineering & Construction (E&C) will begin sales of units at Illumistate apartment complex in Bucheon, west of Seoul, in August, the construction company said Wednesday.

Located in Beombak-dong in the southern part of the city, the apartment complex is comprised of 37 29-story buildings, which house a total 3,724 units. The size of each apartment ranges from 59 square meters to 84 square meters.

Illumistate will be the largest apartment complex of the city, the consortium, comprised of Hyundai E&C, Doosan E&C and Kolon Global, said.

“The apartment complex is expected to draw keen attention from homebuyers as the size of every unit in the complex is less than 85 square meters, which is highly preferred by prospective buyers,” it said.

One of the biggest merits of living in Illumistate is easy access to Seoul. Only 200 meters away from the complex, there is a national highway that runs from Siheung, south of Bucheon, to Seoul, so it takes 10 minutes to get to Guro-gu in southwestern Seoul. The complex is also located close to Sosaeul Station on the Seohae Line, enabling easy access to Seoul.

Another advantage of living in Illumistate is it can offer well-functioning public infrastructure to residents. An elementary school will be constructed within the complex and children will have walking access to nearby elementary, middle and high schools.

Also, Starfield City Bucheon shopping mall is scheduled to be opened in September. Located 10 minutes away on foot from the complex, the shopping mall will house movie theaters, supermarket chains and state-run daycare centers.

Residents can enjoy various kinds of facilities in the complex such as simulation golf, a fitness center, group exercise rooms, library and study rooms. For parents and their children, it also has a mom's cafe and children's cafe. For the safety of residents, parking is allowed only in the underground parking lots.

A salesperson of the apartment complex said Illumistate offers an excellent location for buyers as they can easily access commercial and educational facilities nearby.

“Illumistate has an ideal location as it offers residents superior educational environments, and comfortable living environments,” the official said. “We are so sure that Illumistate will soon become a representative landmark apartment complex of Bucheon.”
