Ssangyong Motor sales surge 30.9% in Feb.

Ssangyong Motor Co., Korea's smallest automaker, said Friday that its February sales surged 30.9 percent from a year earlier, driven by brisk domestic sales and overseas shipments.

Ssangyong Motor sold 8,866 vehicles last month, compared with 6,772 units sold a year ago, the carmaker said in a statement.

Domestic sales jumped 27.5 percent on-year to 3,111 vehicles in February, with exports also soaring 32.8 percent to 5,755 units, it said. (Yonhap)
