Anna Jiwon Park has been covering the politics at The Korea Times since the summer of 2024, when she joined the press pool for the Office of the President in Korea. Prior to that, she spent about five years reporting extensively on financial markets, regulatory authorities and the financial industry. Convenience store meets bank
Hana Bank opens its first branch inside a local convenience store, located in Songpa District, southern Seoul, Monday. This is the first time that a commercial bank has opened a branch inside a convenience store here. Customers can complete about 50 banking tasks via the bank's smart self-zone, a digital self-banking window, 24 hours a day inside the convenience store, where online consultation with bankers is also available.
