Korean CEOs receive Indonesian award
Ambassador Umar Hadi presented the “Ambassador Award” to two Korean CEOs on Aug. 27. The Indonesian Embassy said Se Myeong Precise CEO Kim Moon-go and Daewon GSI CEO Seo Bo-sung received the award for giving appropriate rights to Indonesian workers.

Indonesian architecture unveiled
Indonesia has brought some of its best architects and curators for Indonesian Architect Week Seoul 2017, which will be held here till Sept. 10. With the theme, “Architecture and The City: Indonesian Architects, Responds, Approaches and Processes,” the event aims to popularize the role and work of Indonesian architects internationally and strengthen the relationship between Indonesian architects and Korean architects, the Embassy of Indonesia said.

Danish pharmaceutical company helps low-income elderly
Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk hosted the “Take Action _ Volunteer to Change Lives” event” in Korea on Aug. 25 to help low-income elderly living alone with seasonal side dishes. Novo Nordisk employees, including general manager Rana Azfar Zafar, cooked various dishes including steamed pork with fresh vegetables on the side, stir-fried vegetables with mushrooms, and delivered them to 20 households, the embassy of Denmark said.

Thirteen Latin American countries will introduce some of the region’s best movies to Korea on Sept. 5-10. Athens to present water project
Greece will participate in this year’s Seoul Biennale with a water project from Sept. 2-Nov. 5. The “From Antiquity to Tomorrow: The People’s Water Project” by the EYDAP Water Supply & Sewerage Company of Athens consists of an interactive digital map showing historical water sites and the contemporary hydrological networks of Athens and the district of Attica, the Greek Embassy said.
