Voting for new mayors, governors [PHOTOS]
The voting started at 6 a.m. at 14,465 polling stations nationwide, June 1. A total of 17 metropolitan mayors and provincial governors, 226 lower-level administrative leadership positions, 872 seats in provincial and metropolitan councils and 2,988 in lower-level local councils will be elected though local elections.
