2011 5th Annual Korea Grand Prix Brazilian Jiu-jitsu/ADCC Korea No-Gi Tournament in Seoul, Korea (December 4, 2011)
The Tournament will feature seven divisions as follows: 1) Juvenile Kids (Elementary School); 2) Womens; 3) Juvenile Teenage (Middle School); 4) Mens Junior Adult (High School); 5) Mens Adult (over 18 years); 6) Mens Master (over 30 years); 7) Mens Senior (over 40 years). Within each division, competitors will compete according to belt levels: white belt, blue belt, purple belt, brown belt, black belt. There will also be an Absolute Division tournament for Juvenile Teenage, Womens, Mens Adult, Mens Master, and Mens Senior divisions open to competitors regardless of weight. The first 200 registered competitors will receive a commemorative T-shirt.

■ Tournament & Competition Rules
Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Tournament will abide by the International Brazilian Jiu-jitsu tournament guidelines set by the IBJJF for BJJ Gi competitions. ADCC No-Gi Tournament will abide by ADCC Grappling rules.

Time: 9:00-9:30am Weigh-in and Gi Inspection
■ Location: Dongduk Girls’ High School Gymnasium (Seocho-gu, Seoul, Korea)
(Sadang Station Subway Lines #2 & #4) 10 minutes walk from exit#14)
■ Registration Fees & Gi Restrictions
A) Individual Weight Division only (wearing Gi) = \40,000
Individual Weight Division & Absolute Division= \40,,000 (individual)+\10,000(absolute)=\50,000
※ Gi Restrictions: Males: Only White, Blue, and Black Gi’s permitted/ Females: No color restrictions.
B) ADCC No-Gi Individual Weight Division only = \40,000
ADCC No-Gi Individual Weight Division & Absolute Division=\50,000
■ Registration Deadline: Dec 1, 2011 (midnight).
■ Eligibility Requirements, Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
① Only Persons in good health without any medical conditions, injuries or illnesses may compete.
② Competitors are fully and solely responsible for any and all injuries sustained before, during, and after the tournament. Competitors must have their own personal insurance, sports insurance or otherwise, to cover injuries. In consideration of the participation in the tournament, competitors thereby release, waive, discharge, covenant not to sue and otherwise indemnify the tournament organizers, sponsors, affiliated organizations, and the employees, volunteers, agents and associated personnel of these organizations, the gymnasium owner or other entity designated, or their owners, officers, agents, servants, associations, employees, or any person or entity
connected with the tournament, facility, members, staff, team, competitors or gymnasium against any claim and all claims as a result of that player’s, but not limited to, participation in the tournament.
■ Tournament Admission and Policies
The Tournament will be open to spectators free of charge.
The safety, comfort, and convenience of the competitors will take priority in the setting and organization of the event, and spectators are required to follow the instructions and directions of the tournament staff at all times so as not to hinder or disrespect the competition and its competitors. In the event of anyone causing a disturbance or refusing to follow the directions of the tournament staff, that person may be asked and required to leave the premises. The tournament organizers ask for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
■Important Tournament Guidelines
① The tournament will abide by the rules set the IBJJF.
② In the event of injury preventing further participation, competitors may not advance to the next match.
③ All competitors must be present on the mat for their matches. In the event that a competitor is not present on the mat during his/her scheduled match, he/she will forfeit the match.
■ Weight Divisions (All competitors must weigh-in with their Gi’s on and not exceed weight limit)

All Divisions will also have an Absolute Tournament with open/unlimited weight

No-Gi 2011 ADCC
① Juvenile Youth (middle school): 3 minutes
② Junior Adult (High School): 4 minutes

⑤ Men’s Master: 5 minutes
