Samsung Electronics will showcase its latest home audio lineup at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES), equipping its new sound devices with its “distortion-canceling” algorithm.
The Seoul-based firm said it would reveal a soundbar, a wireless audio player and an ultra-high-definition (UHD) Blu-ray player at the world’s largest tradeshow that kicks off next week in Las Vegas.
The new sound system comes with the technology, which the firm says will offer stable and strong bass for customers.
Another striking feature is what Samsung calls “ultra-high-quality (UHQ)” audio technology, enabling a 32-bit quality sound experience, according to the company. Samsung said it has developed the high-end audio technology at its audio laboratory in the United States.
In particular, the firm’s new high-end wireless speaker, H7, comes with a sleek metal design and premium audio functions. The company said the device was introduced to meet growing needs from customers who hope to enjoy a hi-fi sound experience as well as premium design.
The company also plans to unveil its new MS 750 woofer-embedded soundbar, aimed at customers seeking a cinema experience at home.
“The MS750 is embedded with a strong woofer system, so customers do not have to buy sub-woofers for a home theater experience,” the company said. “This will allow users to manage their home interior in a more efficient way.”
The firm’s new M9500 Blu-ray player is expected to offer a more convenient and high-quality home cinema experience for users, as it can automatically read the type of content ― such as high dynamic range (HDR), the company said. For this reason, users do not have to struggle to set up play modes for specific content, according to Samsung.
The device also supports Bluetooth connections with wireless headphones, helping users to enjoy the private cinema mode without noise disturbances from their surroundings, the company said.
“Samsung Electronics will continue to push for a paradigm shift in the global home audio industry by forging its competitiveness in technological leadership,” Chae Ju-rak, head of Samsung Electronics’ AV business unit, said in a statement.
