SK Telecom said Tuesday it has launched its artificial intelligence-based veterinary care assistance service X Caliber in Southeast Asia.

The mobile carrier signed a deal with local companies to supply X Caliber in Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam, according to the Korean company.

X Caliber is an AI-based veterinary X-ray image diagnosis assistance service launched in Korea in 2022.

The service is already available in Thailand and Vietnam and will arrive in Malaysia in the third quarter, the company explained.

SKT also launched the service in Australia and North America earlier this year. (Yonhap)
