Amway Korea's premium skincare brand Artistry has unveiled its latest, next-generation product for consumers who want more resilient and healthier skin.
The Korean unit of the U.S. multi-level marketing company began selling the Intensive Skincare Advanced Vitamin C+ Hyaluronic Acid Treatment early this month, further bolstering its product lineup.
It is an upgrade of the Vitamin C Wild YAM Treatment, which has become popular with customers in Korea and elsewhere over the past 15 years.
The latest product's antioxidant effects are 35 times more potent than those of previous products because it contains both vitamin C substance extracted from acerola and 100-percent pure vitamin C powder, the firm said.
"The Intensive Skincare Advanced Vitamin C+ Hyaluronic Acid Treatment helps repair damaged skin cells and lift facial skin tone and texture," an Amway Korea official said. "It also helps keep the skin moist far longer than other skincare products can, offering an optimal solution for women grappling with a range of facial skin troubles amid the increasingly toxic environment."
The skincare product will prove more effective in caring for facial skin when seasons change, the official said, adding the company plans to launch a large-scale promotion campaign in the coming weeks.
Amway Korea will set up a promotion booth at Haeundae Beach in Busan during the Busan International Film Festival from Oct. 12 to 21, to let movie fans from all over the country experience the new product.
Amway Korea, an industry leader since its foundation in 1991, is widely known for its unique distribution system in which Amway business members sell directly to consumers.
Amway distributes more than 500 kinds of nutrition, beauty and home care products, such as cosmetics, toothpaste, dietary supplements, detergents and soaps. It's top-selling brands include Nutrilite, Artistry, and eSpring.
Celebrating its 26th anniversary this year, the firm has renewed its pledge to offer high-quality, safe consumer goods at affordable prices, while hiring more workers and building more business-related facilities.
In 2010, it opened a distribution center in Busan, which is responsible for the distribution of Amway products in Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore.
