Daewoo Engineering and Construction (Daewoo E&C) has begun selling space in its integrated residential and commercial building complex, "Prugio Summit," in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
The company opened a model home in Yongsan on Friday. More than 10,000 customers have visited in the three days since it opened.
The complex is divided into two buildings ― a 38-story residential and 39-story office building.
The apartments are sold at 28 million won per 3.3 square meters, and the officetels, a type of studio apartment with built-in home appliances, sell at 14 million won per 3.3 square meters.
Residents can move into the complex from July 2017.
"The strongest point of the complex is that there are numerous retail amenities nearby and convenient access to public transportation, as it is located in the heart of Seoul," said a company official.
Both Yongsan Subway Station on Line No. 1 and Sinyongsan Subway Station on Line No. 4 are located within a five-minute walk, and drivers can easily access the Gangbyeon Expressway and the Olympic Highway, the official added.
Although it is located in central Seoul, he noted that 25 percent of the complex space is comprised of gardens which allow residents to enjoy a pleasant ambience.
The complex has tight security and privacy features, said the official.
The model home for Prugio Summit is located near Exit No. 2 of the Shinyongsan Subway Station.
