Doosan Corp. said Thursday that it and affiliates Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction and Doosan Infracore had been added to the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI).
Doosan Corp. was included in the Asia Pacific sector, while Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction in the Korea sector. There are three categories that Korean companies can be included I ― the World, Asia Pacific and Korea,
This is the first time for Doosan Heavy to be the part of the index, while Doosan Infracore was added to a higher level of the index.
The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) evaluate the sustainability performance of the largest 2,500 companies around the world listed on the Dow Jones Global Total Stock Market Index.
They are one of the leading sustainability benchmarks worldwide with the longest history and have become an important reference for investors in evaluating companies' sustainability.
