Epson Korea said its new AM-C4000, AM-C5000 and AM-6000 inkjet multifunction printers dramatically reduce environmental burden and greatly enhance the convenience of maintenance.
The new products can print out 40, 50 and 60 pages per minute, respectively, and are equipped with Epson's Heat-Free technology, which jets ink without using heat during the printing process. Thanks to the technology, the new products reduce annual power consumption and carbon emissions by up to 77 percent compared to laser printers.
Ease of use has been improved and the new products have a simpler internal design than comparable laser products, reducing the need to replace parts such as consumables.
The company also introduced seven new SureColor SC series printers for colorful prints such as drawings, posters and banners. The SC-T7740D model has an increased print head area of 6.71 centimeters from 2.54 centimeters in the previous equivalent, resulting in improved print quality and faster printing speeds for increased productivity.
