Philips Korea has appointed Park Jae-in as its new CEO. He will concurrently serve as the CEO of Philips Korea and the head of the health systems business division, which provides professional healthcare solutions, according to the company.

"It is an honor to be with Philips Korea, which has contributed to the growth of the domestic healthcare industry and the improvement of people's quality of life for nearly 50 years," Park said.
Park has accumulated more than 20 years of expertise and experience in various fields such as sales, marketing and business management at global healthcare companies such as Philips, Abbott, Johnson & Johnson and Getinge.
He has in-depth knowledge and experience in the field of health technology, ranging from diagnostic imaging equipment, health informatics and digital healthcare.
Prior to joining Philips Korea, he was the CEO of the Korean unit of Abbott, a global medical device company. In 2016, he led the precision diagnosis and image-guided treatment business division at Philips Korea, and oversaw the diagnosis and treatment-related businesses. He was also evaluated as having contributed greatly by leading business growth in the field of digital pathology.
In 2012, he was the Korean branch manager for Getinge, a Swedish healthcare company. He started his career in 1998, working in sales at Johnson & Johnson Medical Korea.
