DL E&C wins three IDEA Design Awards

DL Engineering & Construction (E&C) has won three awards in industrial design at the 2021 IDEA Design Award earlier this month, hosted by the Industrial Designers Society of America.

The company won both the bronze award for its e-Pyeonhansesang apartment home design and the main award in the Digital Interaction category. The company's high-end brand ACRO also won the top award in the Environments category.

In August, e-Pyeonhansesang won two main awards for its design at the 2021 Red Dot Design Award. With these new awards, the company has received top-tier awards in two out of the three most prestigious global design awards, proving its ability to reach the highest standards in design. Last year, ACRO was honored in the top three global design awards, and this year it has again been recognized in the Environments category of the IDEA Design Award.

The IDEA is hosted by the Industrial Designers Society of America and is recognized as one of the top three global design awards, alongside Germany's iF and Red Dot.

The bronze award was given to e-Pyeonhansesang's “All New Style Rack,” which provides enhanced convenience in security, energy conservation and comfort through a combination of hardware and software embedded in its living service platform.

The new technological service is a dramatic upgrade from existing smart home services. This aspect can be seen in its ability to control all home electronics through automatic connections, including the home doorbell, light switches, air quality sensors and other smart home features, further differentiating the company's services from those of competitors.

The top award was given to e-Pyeonhansesang's smart home application in the Digital Interaction category. The User Experience / User Interface (UX/UI) application captured attention for its design and convenience.

ACRO's Park Edition was also awarded with the top prize for its enhanced privacy protection, and was praised for its landscape architecture design as well.
