Brian Orser, figure skating star Kim Yu-na's coach, denied rumors that he has thought about a move to work with Kim's archrival, Mao Asada of Japan.

``My first consideration is definitely Yu-na,'' Orser told Yonhap, Sunday.

``I never considered to be Mao's coach.''

But the Canadian admitted he was offered the job after the World Championships in Turin.

"The offer came from IMG, Mao's agent. But it wasn't an official enquiry and they just asked once,'' the coach said.

``Kim Yu-na is unconditionally my first consideration. First, Kim has to decide whether she skates as a Korean athlete or as a professional.

``If she continues as an athlete, I want to continue to coach Kim. Mao has her coach and I am still Yu-na's coach,'' he emphasized.

Orser returned to Canada and is now teaching in Toronto after the ice show ``Festa on Ice,'' which was held in Korea from April 16 to 18.

"Kim is now pondering about her future. Until she decides, Kim has to be away from skating," Orser said, saying that he didn't want to put any pressure on her.

"No matter what her decision is, she is returning to Toronto in May. At that time, I will talk with Yu-na again."
