Dear editor,
I respectfully protest the cartoon you published on your opinion pages on July 24 depicting Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as an obstacle to peace. The cartoon was inaccurate, unfair and, arguably, anti-Semitic.
Hamas commits the war crime of targeting innocent civilians. Israel defends innocent civilians.
Hamas commits the war crime of using innocent civilians as human shields. Israel works to protect innocent civilians.
Hamas opposes religious freedom and liberal democracy. Israel supports religious freedom and liberal democracy.
Hamas opposes peace with Israel. Israel supports peace with the Palestinians.
Hamas maximizes Palestinian casualties in an attempt to get journalists to portray Israel unfairly. Today, The Korea Times fell for it.
Please don't let it happen again. You are better than that, and your readers deserve better.
