In this letter I'm not going to argue about the outcomes made in the editorial though some of them are questionable at least, but there is one thing that is completely intolerable for every Russian person. I suppose that you are quite competent in the world history and thus there is no need to elaborate about the Second World War and its impact on our country. The theme of Third Reich in Russia is extremely sensitive. So you should understand that any comparison of Russia or its leadership with Nazi Germany as well as drawing historical parallels of that kind for us is the "red line" which could not be crossed under any circumstances by those who want to be our friends as we believe you do.
As for allegations made in the editorial I would propose you to refer to the statement made by President V. Putin in response to the report by the World Anti-doping Agency, which describes the Russian point of view at the situation. In a country respecting rule of law and freedom of speech it's natural to view dispute from both sides, isn't it? And I do hope you will provide your readers with such opportunity by publishing the above mentioned statement.
