Singer IU has collaborated with veteran singer and Sanwoolim member Kim Chang-wan in her new remake album.

According to Loen Entertainment, IU’s agency, IU has consistently expressed her desire to work with Kim, most recently on a radio program last November, and Kim has responded to such calls.

Loen confirmed Thursday that IU and Kim worked closely together on one particular song to be included in IU’s remake album.

IU, who debuted in 2008 with a mini album titled “Lost and Found,” has worked with a number of older generation musicians, including Choi Baek-ho and Yang Hee-eun.

Kim, who made his debut in 1977 with Sanwoolim, is known to be a versatile entertainer, and over the years has built a solid presence as an actor, poet, emcee and deejay.
