New Korean crime movie “Inside Men” will open a day earlier than planned due to huge public demand.
The movie, based on the webtoon of the same name written by cartoonist Yoon Tae-ho, has been rescheduled to hit theaters on Nov. 18.
The movie has been highly anticipated because Yoon is the nation’s star cartoonist who created webtoon “Misaeng” and whose TV series adaptation last year was hugely acclaimed.
The movie portrays a bloody battle between political henchman Ahn Sang-goo (Lee Byung-hun), a prosecutor who pretends to pursue justice and desires to reach the top, and an influential conservative newspaper editor blind for power.
Media reviews have branded the movie “a must-see crime thriller” thanks to the actors’ excellent performances and an air-tight plot.
