The Seoul Motor Show 2015 begins on April 3 under the theme of "Experience the Technology, Feel the Artistry."

The Korea Times selected four cars that visitors should look out for among the 141 domestic and 206 imported models to be displayed during the 10-day show at the KINTEX in Goyang.

Kia Motors all-new K5

Kia Motors' all-new K5 sedan, a second generation model since its 2010 launch, will draw a lot of attention.

Kia has high expectations, claiming, "The all-new K5 is an ideal model that will take sedan design a step further, with a sporty and dynamic design that is second to none."

Kia recently released a photo that suggests a more masculine look. The company will start selling the model in the second quarter of this year.

Maserati Alfieri Concept

The Italian luxury carmaker, which posted a record sales rise of around 469 percent last year, will unveil its Alfieri concept car at the Seoul show.

In its invitation letter to the press, Maserati said the model opened the carmaker's second century.

The Alfieri Concept was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show 2014, celebrating the brand's centenary, with the name Alfieri commemorating the founding Maserati brothers. The car was crowned "2014 Concept Car of the Year" at the prestigious Car Design Night at the Geneva show.

Yebbujana R

Power Plaza, local supplier of batteries and solutions for electric cars, will unveil its first electric roadster to at the 2015 Seoul Motor Show. The electric roadster, called "Yebbujana R," with its unique dolphin shaped front and cute design, is expected to draw plenty of attention. When driven at 60 k/ph an hour can travel 571 kilometers on one charge. It has a maximum speed of 198 k/ph an hour and can accelerate from zero to 100 k/ph in 4.6 seconds.

Renault EOLAB

Renault Samsung's high-performance Plugged-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle concept car EOLAB, which can travel up to 100 kilometers on one liter of fuel will have its Asia premiere.

When it was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in September, the vehicle attracted attention as a next-generation environmentally friendly car.

Although the car is unlikely to be commercialized, the company's aim was to build a vehicle that uses the least fuel. The body is built from high-strength, lightweight materials.

The vehicle's hybrid technology will be adapted to the carmaker's other environmentally friendly cars. Its technology will be applied to 20-20 percent of Renault and Renault Samsung cars in 2016, and to 80-90 percent in 2022, according to the company.
